While I love a good bananas foster, my favorite flaming dessert is actually creme brule. Buy a good mix from the store and follow directions, except for the last step of broiling to set the sugar.





Just before serving brush tops of brule with 151 Rum (do NOT use regular rum as the flame will be slower burning and can ruin the dessert -- you want a quick flash of flame). Flame at the table.





This works well with this recipe because the sugar on to p of creme brule is meant to be carmalized and the rum does that AND looks spectacular when flaming.Looking for flaming dessert, got any recipes?

Ummmmm...you can usually pour some rum over most desserts to flame them.


As you're making crepes. Flip them over and pour some rum and others over it and flame it.
