Paula Dean has a great chocolate goo cake recipe! It is the best and easy to make!

Here is the recipe:

8 tablespoons (1 stick) butter, melted, plus 8 more tablespoons (1 stick) butter, melted, plus additional butter, for greasing pan

1 (18.25-ounce) package chocolate cake mix

1 egg, plus 2 eggs

1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, softened

3 to 4 tablespoons cocoa powder

1 (16-ounce) box powdered sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 cup chopped nuts

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Lightly grease a 13 by 9-inch baking pan.

In a large bowl, combine the cake mix, 1 egg, and 1 stick melted butter, and stir until well blended. Pat mixture into prepared pan and set aside.

In a stand mixer, or with a hand mixer, beat the cream cheese until smooth. Add the remaining 2 eggs, and the cocoa powder. Lower the speed of the mixer, and add the powdered sugar. Continue beating until ingredients are well mixed. Slowly add the remaining 1 stick of melted butter, and the vanilla, continuing to beat the mixture until smooth. Stir in nuts with a rubber spatula. Spread filling over cake mixture in pan. Bake for 40 to 50 minutes. Be careful not to overcook the cake; the center should still be a little gooey when finished baking. Let cake partially cool on a wire rack before cutting into pieces.Okay, i need a chocolatey dessert recipe, easy to make and transport but very yummy!?

This dessert is very easy and very good. I make it with vanilla pudding, but I'm sure you could use chocolate if you like.

Ingredients:

1 package instant vanilla pudding prepared as directed

1 tub of Cool Whip

1 package Oreo cookies

Mix prepared pudding and cool whip together in a bowl. Crush at least half the package of Oreos. Add them to the mix. Put in a 9 x 13 glass dish and refridgerate until ready to serve.

I love making this, and I get so many compliments on it. Good luck.
Ingredients

• 2 cups all purpose flour

• 2 cups sugar

• 1/2 teaspoon baking powder

• 1 teaspoon salt

• 1 teaspoon baking soda

• 1/2 cup shortening

• 3/4 cup water

• 2 large eggs

• 3/4 cup milk

• 1 teaspoon vanilla

• 4 ounces melted unsweetened baking chocolate

Chocolate Cupcake Recipe Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line cupcake pans with paper liners.

Combine all ingredients into large mixing bowl. Mix at low speed for 30 seconds, and scrape bowl. Mix at high speed for 3 minutes.

Fill liners 1/2 to 2/3 full of batter. Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.

Cool 10 minutes in pans then remove from pan, and place on wire racks to cool completely.

Frost when chocolate cupcakes are completely cool.
They have a very good selection of chocolate type pies in the frozen goods section at the grocery store. Taste like home made and transport easy.
made this one a couple of days ago and turned out to be delicious.... I didn't put any liquor inside but you may if you want/have some. Also, since it's very creamy it might turn out a bit too heavy, so I got advice from people here at Y/A and came out with an even more delicious option.

First make the chocolate mousse like this:

1 3/4 cups whipping cream

12 ounces quality semi-sweet chocolate chips

3 ounces espresso or strong coffee

1 tablespoon dark rum

4 tablespoons butter

1 teaspoon flavorless, granulated gelatin

Chill 1 1/2 cups whipping cream in refrigerator. Chill metal mixing bowl and mixer beaters in freezer.

In top of a double boiler, combine chocolate chips, coffee, rum and butter. Melt over barely simmering water, stirring constantly. Remove from heat while a couple of chunks are still visible. Cool, stirring occasionally to just above body temperature.

Pour remaining 1/4 cup whipping cream into a metal measuring cup and sprinkle in the gelatin. Allow gelatin to ';bloom'; for 10 minutes. Then carefully heat by swirling the measuring cup over a low gas flame or candle. Do not boil or gelatin will be damaged. Stir mixture into the cooled chocolate and set aside.

In the chilled mixing bowl, beat cream to medium peaks. Stir 1/4 of the whipped cream into the chocolate mixture to lighten it. Fold in the remaining whipped cream in two doses. There may be streaks of whipped cream in the chocolate and that is fine. Do not over work the mousse.

Spoon into bowls or martini glasses and chill for at least 1 hour.

NOTE: in order to make my dessert, you probably don't even need to let the mousse stand for 1 hour, you can use it right away.

THEN, once the mousse is finished, put a layer of it on the bottom of a tupperware container; then add a layer of bananas and a layer of strawberries; and then top it with some whipped cream (barely sweetened or totally unsweetened, whatever you prefer). It's quick, easy and yummy and you can take it anywhere! Hope you enjoy it.....
