The jello layered with cool whip. Fast, cheap and the kids love it.
1 package of instant vanilla pudding (3.8 oz. box)

1 container of Cool Whip frozen topping

1 can of crushed pineapple in its own juice

1 store bought or homemade Angel Food cake

In a large bowl, mix vanilla pudding mix with Cool Whip until creamy. Stir in crushed pineapple and juice. Refrigerate for one hour. Serve over slices of Angel Food cake!

I don't know the name of this dessert but I always make in the summertime and even use fat-free pudding and whipped topping to make it a ';lighter'; version. It's easy and delicious!!
In a blender mix 1 frozen banana (I stock up when they are on sale and peel and quarter them before freezing), 1 1/2 cup vanilla soy milk , and 2 tablespoons Hershey's syrup (or more depending on your personal taste)...blend until smooth. This is for 1 serving, You can enlarge this to the limits of your blender. The results are a very yummy chocolate/banana shake. Sometimes I make this as a breakfast shake replacing the syrup with soy protien powder.
ice cream
raspberry sorbet dessert

2 cups raspberry sorbet or sherbet (I used President's Choice fat free raspberry gelato and it worked great)

1 cup cold milk

1 (106 g) package instant vanilla pudding (or try chocolate for an extra special treat!)

3 cups Cool Whip, thawed

1 cup raspberries

1. Line a 9x5 inch loaf pan with foil, spoon sorbet into pan and put in the freezer for 10 minutes.

2. Pour milk into a large bowl and add dry pudding mix. Whisk until well blended and fold in whipped topping.

3. Spread pudding mixture over sorbet in pan.

4. Freeze for at least 3 hours or ovenight. Wrap securely and label if freezing longer than 24 hours.

5. Unmold loaf pan onto a serving platter and top with fresh raspberries just before serving. It will be easier to cut if it rests for 15 minutes.
During summer, my favorite summer dessert is raspberry sorbet. At Trader Joes, they have tons of different flavors that you can choose from. They are healthy and enjoyable.
This isn't something that you make, but it is delicious, refreshing and not filling. It's called the Wattamelon Roll from Friendly's. It's made with sherbet (the flavors are watermelon, lime and lemon) and chocolate chips. It looks just like a watermelon and the whole family loves it.
Try Vanilla Ice cream with crushed Amaretti/ Digestive biscuits and canned Peach/ Apricot in layers in tall glasses. It is quick and easy to make.

Good luck
Purchase a pie shell or use pre-made sugar cookie dough to bake a crust. Mix cream cheese and cool whip. Spread over the shell or cookie crust. Top with sliced fruit: bananas, kiwi, strawberries, etc. I make this for picnics and everyone loves it. It is a very pretty desert too.
Cut up strawberries and kiwis. Mix them. Add flavoured yougurt (not too much, just to dress it not to drown).

The a scoop of the fruits and a scoop of any frozwn yougurt.

Try this, and if someone doesn't like it then blame me:P
