1/2 cup chp. pecans.

Mix together, press into 9 by 13 baking dish. Bake at 350 for 15 to 20 min.

My family loves this cool and easy dessert.
I have one for the dessert! and it is very pretty as well as tastes great!!

bake a white box cake according to directions. (2 round cakes)

while that is cooking, mix a large tub of cool whip with strawberry preserves. ( iI don't measure...till it is a nice rich pink color and tastes like strawberry...not just whipped cream)

You also need 1 pkg of fresh strawberries, 1 pkg. fresh blackberries %26amp; 1 of fresh blueberries.

once cake is done, cool in pans for 15 minutes then turn upside down on wire cooling racks. cool completely!!

cut one layer horizontally to make that one into 2 layers.

put bottom on cake plate and frost with whipped cream mixture. then spread some of the fruit onto that (strawberries should be cut into pieces)

put top of that layer on and repeat whipped cream and berry steps.

then do the same with layer # 2

then top cake and sides completely with whipped cream mixture and berries.

It is delicious and pretty. and every layer has strawberry whipped cream and berries....so it's wonderful all the way through.
Well make small pies. ALl you need is pudding mix and whip cream and whatever you want to put on it. Just make the pudding mix as in the directions and put in small graham pie shells and thenput whip cream on top of them. You can use berries, peels or anything else to garnish them with. It's easy to do and delicous
I usually make this recipe using the sweetest ripe mangoes which is readily available where I am, but canned peaches are most probably easier to find in your case. Easy yet so good!

PEACH FLOAT

1 cup heavy cream, chilled

2/3 cup sweetened condensed milk, chilled

1/2 cup mashed peaches

1 tsp vanilla extract

thin slices of ripe peaches (canned will do)

graham crackers

Blend cream and sweetened milk. Add mashed peaches. Add vanilla. Mix. Set aside.

Using a 9x9 pyrex or any transparent dish, arrange a layer of graham crackers on the bottom of the dish. Then spread one third of the cream mixture on top of the crackers, then arrange the peach slices on top of the cream mixture. Repeat the process, ending with the cream mixture on the top layer.

Decorate the top layer with more peach slices for more visual appeal. Sprinkle with chopped nuts if you want.

Chill before serving.

Enjoy!
Easy Strawberry Dessert

A very easy way to serve strawberries and a childhood favorite of mine. Whenever we had helped my German grandmother picking the strawberries in her garden she would treat us to this dessert. As children we liked to mix the cream into the juice from the strawberries to color it pink. Today I prefer it ';unmixed';. Whipping cream (in Germany) is a cream with a 30 percent fat content, which allows it to be whipped stiff. Use heavy cream if it is unavailable.

4 servings 25 min 25 min prep

3 pints strawberries

1-2 tablespoon sugar

2 teaspoons lemon juice

1 cup whipping cream or heavy cream

2 teaspoons sugar

1/4 teaspoon vanilla (optional)

Rinse strawberries carefully, remove stems, cut large berries in bite-sized pieces. Put in a bowl.

Depending on sweetness of strawberries and your personal tastes sprinkle with about 1 tablespoon sugar and 2 teaspoons lemon juice. Stir carefully until mixed.

Beat well cooled whipping cream on low until it starts to thicken. Add sugar (and vanilla) and beat on medium speed until stiff. Don't overbeat or you'll get sweetened butter and buttermilk. :)Put cream in a second bowl.

For serving: Put bowls on table together with individual serving bowls, so that everbody might help themselves.

Put some strawberries with juice in an individual bowl and top with as much (or as little) cream as desired.

You can prepare the strawberries a few hours ahead and keep them in the fridge. Remove one hour before serving so they might get room temperature. They will devellop a lot of juice while sitting in the fridge, if you don't like this, serve within 1 hour of preparation. Always whip the cream just before serving.
Pineapple coconut cake

1 box of white cake mix, plus ingredients to prepare

(I have used yellow cake before)

1-14oz can sweetened condensed milk

1-15oz can of cream of coconut

1-20oz can crushed pineapple, well drained

1-12oz cool whip

1- 6oz pkg flaked coconut

1- pkg of Instant French Vanilla Pudding (Optional)

Preheat oven 350 degrees.

Prepare cake mix according to pkg directions. Pour batter, into a greased and floured pan and bake for 30-35 minutes, or until inserted tooth pick comes out clean.

Remove from oven. Pierced holes in top of hot cake with a fork.

Mix sweetened condensed milk and cream of coconut in a small bowl; immediately pour over hot cake.

Let cake cool completely in the pan.

Spread pineapples over cake. Then spread cool whip over pineapples. Sprinkle coconut evenly over cool whip.

Cover and refrigerate over night or until ready to serve.

Sometimes I add a small pkg of Instant French vanilla pudding to the cool whip. Then spread over pineapples.

Or sometimes I combine the pineapples, undrained and instant french vanilla pudding and cool whip together, then spread over cake mixture.
