What is a good dessert to make and it's recipe?

I really want to learn to make some desserts so I was wondering if you could send me some recipes and what the food is called. Cakes, puddings, whatever you have is great. Thank you so much!What is a good dessert to make and it's recipe?
Chocolate fondue is sinfully good and I have a wonderdul recipe that is made from just 4 ingredients. This link gives you the easy instructions. You might think about making it for Valentines Day!

Peanut Butter Torte from ';Baking: From My Home To Yours';





* 1 录 c. finely chopped salted peanuts (for the filling, crunch and topping)


* 2 teaspoons sugar


* 陆 teaspoon instant espresso powder (or finely ground instant coffee)


* 录 teaspoon ground cinnamon


* Pinch of freshly grated nutmeg


* 陆 c. mini chocolate chips (or finely chopped semi sweet chocolate)


* 24 Oreo cookies, finely crumbed or ground in a food processor or blender


* 陆 stick (4 tablespoons) unsalted butter, melted and cooled


* Small pinch of salt


* 2 陆 c. heavy cream


* 1 录 c confectioners鈥?sugar, sifted


* 12 ounces cream cheese, at room temperature


* 1 陆 c salted peanut butter 鈥?crunchy or smooth (not natural; I use Skippy)


* 2 tablespoons whole milk


* 4 ounces bittersweet chocolate finely chopped(My notes: I used mini semi-sweet chocolate chips and used my own ganache recipe which stood up a lot better than this one.








Directions:


Center a rack in the oven and preheat the oven to 350掳F. Butter a 9-inch Springform pan and place it on a baking sheet lined with parchment or a silicone mat.


Toss 陆 cup of the chopped peanuts, the sugar, espresso powder, cinnamon, nutmeg and chocolate chops together in a small bowl. Set aside.


Put the Oreo crumbs, melted butter and salt in another small bowl and stir with a fork just until crumbs are moistened. Press the crumbs evenly over the bottom and up the sides of the spring form pan (they should go up about 2 inches on the sides). Freeze the crust for 10 minutes.


Bake the crust for 10 minutes, then transfer it to a rack and let it cool completely before filling.





Working with a stand mixer fitted with the whisk attachment or with a hand mixer in a large bowl, whip 2 cups of the cream until it holds medium peaks. Beat in 录 cup of the confectioners鈥?sugar and whip until the cream holds medium-firm peaks. Scrape the cream into a bowl and refrigerate until needed.

Wipe out (do not wash) the bowl, fit the stand mixer with the paddle attachment if you have one, or continue with the hand mixer, and beat the cream cheese with the remaining 1 cup confectioners鈥?sugar on medium speed until the cream cheese is satiny smooth. Beat in the peanut butter, 录 cup of the chopped peanuts and the milk.


Using a large rubber spatula, gently stir in about one quarter of the whipped cream, just to lighten the mousse.





Still working with the spatula, stir in the crunchy peanut mixture, then gingerly fold in the remaining whipped cream.


Scrape the mousse into the crust, mounding and smoothing the top. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or overnight; cover with plastic wrap as soon as the mousse firms.








To Finish The Torte: This is Dorie's recipe for ganache.





Put the chopped chocolate in a heatproof bowl and set the bowl over a saucepan of simmering water. Leave the bowl over the water just until the chocolate softens and starts to melt, about 3 minutes; remove the bowl from the saucepan.


Bring the remaining 陆 cup cream to a full boil. Pour the cream over the chocolate and , working with a rubber spatula, very gently stir together until the ganache is completely blended and glossy.


Pour the ganache over the torte, smoothing it with a metal icing spatula. Scatter the remaining 陆 cup peanuts over the top and chill to set the topping, about 20 minutes.

Minnesota Peach Cobbler





10 cups frozen peaches sliced


2 Tbls. Lemon juice


1 陆 cups white sugar


录 tsp. salt


戮 cup flour


陆 tsp. cinnamon


1 stick of butter





Measure the peaches %26amp; put in large mixing bowl. Let thaw for 10 minutes. Then toss with lemon juice. In smaller bowl combine white sugar, salt, flour %26amp; cinnamon. Mix with a fork until they are well combined. Pour dry mixture over the peaches and toss. You may use a spoon or clea hands. Once most of the dry ingred. Are clinging to the peaches, dump them into the pan you have prepared. Any dry ingred. Left in bowl sprinkle over top of peaches. Melt the butter, then drizzle over the peaches. Then cover cake pan tightly with foil. Bake in 350% oven for 40 min. Take out of oven and set in a heatproof area but don,t turn off oven.





Top Crust





1 cup flour


1 cup white sugar


1 陆 tsp. of baking powder


录 tsp cinnamon陆


1 陆 tsp. salt


陆 stick butter


2 beaten eggs





Combine the flour, sugar, cinnamon, baking powder and salt in the smaller bowl you used earlier. Cut in the butter until the mixture looks like coarse cornmeal. Add beaten eggs and mix.





Remove foil from the peach pan, drop spoonfulls of mixture on peaches just dot all over pan. Peaches will look polka dotted and don't worry about openings as it bakes the topping will spread out. Bake an additional 50 minutes or until. Topping is nice and brown.
Meringue-Topped Southern Banana Pudding





Prep Time: 20 min


Total Time: 45 min


Makes: 12 servings, 2/3 cup each





Ingredients:


4-1/2 cups milk


2 pkg. (4-serving size each) JELL-O Vanilla Flavor Cook %26amp; Serve Pudding


3 eggs, separated


42 NILLA Wafers (1/2 of 12-oz. pkg.)


2 large bananas, sliced


Dash cream of tartar


1/3 cup sugar








Preparation:


PREHEAT oven to 350掳F. Add milk to dry pudding mix in medium saucepan; stir until well blended. Lightly beat egg yolks in small bowl. Add to milk mixture; mix well. Bring to full rolling boil on medium heat, stirring constantly. Remove from heat.


ARRANGE layer of wafers on bottom and up side of 2-qt. baking dish. Top with layers of one third of the pudding and one half of the banana slices. Repeat layers; cover with the remaining pudding.


BEAT egg whites and cream of tartar in medium bowl with electric mixer on high speed until foamy. Gradually add sugar, beating until stiff peaks form. Spread over pudding, sealing to edge of dish.


BAKE 15 min. or until meringue is browned. Cool. Serve warm or refrigerate until ready to serve. Store leftover pudding in refrigerator.
triple chocolate cake. pre heat oven to 350


1 boxed cake mix (the kind with pudding in the mix or butter recipe) any flavor


1- 4 serving size instant pudding mix. same flavor as the cake mix


1 cup sour cream


3/4 cup water


2 eggs


1 cup choc chips (white chips for vanilla or lemon cakes)


mix with a beater, everything but the chips. batter will be very thick


stir the chips in by hand.


spoon into a bundt pan sprayed with no stick spray


bake 45 nim to 1 hour. check for doneness with a toothpick.


cool 5 minutes on pan over cooling rack them invert onto a plate to avoid steaming. frost if you like
NO BAKE SUPER EASY CHOCOLATE MINT PIE


8 ounce can of whipped cream


1 packet Andes chocolate mint


1 tin suger-free mint chocolate chip ice cream


1 box of chocolate pie crust (oreo is best)


1 bag semi-sweet chocolate chips


INSTRUCTIONS


(let ice cream sit out for 15 mins)


melt choclate chips in microwave on high for one min


then spoon it over the pic crust


second use a vegetable peeler to ';curl'; the mints like this http://www.dkimages.com/discover/preview鈥?/a>


pour all of the chocolate mint shavings into the whipped cream and mix until blended.


when the chocolate chips COOL then take the out the ice cream and put it over the pie crust until its evenly applied


after that take out whipped cream with the mint chocolate curls and put over the ice cream


then put into freezer for two hours


and your done!!!
