Creamy Fruit Salad





Ingredients:





* 1 cup sliced strawberries


* 1 cup diced cantaloupe or mango


* 1/2 cup (or a 6-ounce container) lemon or vanilla low-fat yogurt


* 1 dash ground cinnamon


* 2 tablespoons chopped or sliced roasted almonds, or reduced-fat granola (optional)





Preparation:


1. Toss yogurt with fruit in medium-sized bowl. Top with cinnamon.


2. Sprinkle with chopped or sliced almonds or reduced-fat granola, if desired.





Yield:

Dunno how healty it is but always a crowd pleaser!





Blueberry Angel Dessert





Ingredients:


1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened


1 cup confectioners' sugar


1 carton (8 ounces) frozen whipped topping, thawed


1 prepared angel food cake (16 ounces) , cut into 1-inch pieces


2 cans (21 ounces each) blueberry pie filling





Directions:


In a large bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth; fold in whipped topping and cake cubes. Spread evenly into an ungreased 13-in. x 9-in. dish; top with pie filling. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours before cutting into squares. Yield: 12-15 servings.
I really enjoy these lime butter cookies I found on HobbyFarms.com. They're easy to make (I think) and use fresh ingredients so I think it makes them tasty and a bit healthier than store bought stuff.

Really simple.





Take a few flour tortillas and cut them into equal triangles (4ths or 8ths).


Then fry them in a pan with oil as you would to make tortilla chips.


Pat the triangles off to remove excess oil.


Then coat triangles with a sugar-cinnomin mixture on both sides. Enjoy!
try stewing an apple/ pear by:


* peeling the fruit.


*cut into slices and put in a pot with 3-4 tablespoons of cold tap water.


*heat on the hob until soft.


*Serve with frozen yogurt wit half a teaspoon of cinnamon
