Thankss =)Quick and Easy french dessert recipe ?
Palmiers! Easy-peasy using puff pastry and cinnamon-sugar.

PALMIERS

2 cups granulated sugar

1/8 teaspoon kosher salt

2 sheets puff pastry, defrosted (recommended: Pepperidge Farm)

Preheat the oven to 450 degrees F.

Combine the sugar and kosher salt. Pour 1 cup of the sugar/salt mixture on a flat surface such as wooden board or marble. Unfold each sheet of puff pastry onto the sugar and pour 1/2 cup of the sugar mixture on top, spreading it evenly on the puff pastry. This is not about sprinkling, it's about an even covering of sugar. With a rolling pin, roll the dough until it's 13 by 13-inches square and the sugar is pressed into the puff pastry on top and bottom. Fold the sides of the square towards the center so they go halfway to the middle. Fold them again so the two folds meet exactly at the middle of the dough. Then fold 1 half over the other half as though closing a book. You will have 6 layers. Slice the dough into 3/8-inch slices and place the slices, cut side up, on baking sheets lined with parchment paper. Place the second sheet of pastry on the sugared board, sprinkle with the remaining 1/2 cup of sugar mixture, and continue as above. (There will be quite a bit of sugar left over on the board.) Slice and arrange on baking sheets lined with parchment.

Bake the cookies for 6 minutes until caramelized and brown on the bottom, then turn with a spatula and bake another 3 to 5 minutes, until caramelized on the other side. Transfer to a baking rack to cool

Creamy Marscapone and Strawberry Trifle

Cr猫me de Marscapone aux Fraises鈥?This is one of my favorite quick easy dessert recipes! It looks beautiful. The marscapone is lightly flavored with lemon and the strawberries make for a perfect marriage of flavor and texture... Enjoy!

Preparation Time: 10 Minutes

Ingredients: (4 people)

2 cups Marscapone Cheese

1 cup Strawberries%26gt;BR%26gt; 1/4 cup Granulated Sugar

3 tbsp. Milk

2 tsp. Balsamic Vinegar

2 tbsp. Honey

1 Lemon

How to Make It:

1. In a bowl, stir the marscapone, sugar, and milk together.

2. Shred a little bit of the lemon rind, and stir it into the marscapone mixture.

3. Cut strawberries into quarters. Mix together the honey and vinegar.

4. In individual serving dishes or glasses, layer alternately the marscapone followed by a layer of strawberries. Repeat until finished. Then pour a little honey and vinegar sauce over the top.

Voil脿!

Variations:

You can use any other berries along with the strawberries, or any other fruit.

You can also replace the honey/vinegar sauce (it may sound a little strange, but really it's delicious!) with any other fruit sauce you choose

THIS TAKES ABOUT 10 MINS TO MAKE
Tart Tatin. Very very easy and the fruit is in season so it will be less expensive. It is apple - quintessential French.

This is Cajun French and damn good! Prepare strawberries as if for shortcake. Crumble Ritz crackers in small serving bowl, top with strawberries and whipped cream. It's called Strawberry Shortcut Cake.

and it's addicting.
