Simpliest dessert...I use it whenever I'm in a rush. Buy a plain/vanilla pound cake, slice it, and serve it with fresh whipped cream and strawberries or mixed berries.
Cherry Salad (ambrosia)

1 can cherry pie filling

1 tub cool whip

1 can pineapple chunks (drained)

1 can condensed sweet milk

half a cup of pecan pieces (optional)

In medium mixing bowl mix together cherry pie filling and can of condensed sweet milk. Add can of pineapple chunks, and tub of cool whip. Add pecan pieces (optional) Mix well and chill in fridge for about an hour. You can transfer it to a different bowl or whatever you want to do. This is very tasty.

Trifle

You need:

1 sponge cake, cut into small-ish squares

2 packets of jelly (jello to Americans)

4 cups of prepared custard

4 cups of berries and peaches (frozen / tinned work fine)

a few tablespoons of sherry/ Grand Marnier / orange juice

chocolate curls for decoration

Prepare the jelly/o according to the directions on the pack and set aside to set. While the jelly/o is setting prepare the custard if making from scratch (bought custard works fine) and set aside to cool. Sit the sponge squares in a bowl and sprinkle with the alcohol / oj. Get a good coverage over all the squares, but not so much that they go soggy. Cover with cling film and let stand till the jelly/o is set. Remove the berries from the freezer (if using frozen) to thaw.

Once the jelly/o is set cut it into squares approximately the same size as the sponge squares. Now you can start constructing the trifle.

Cover the base of a big bowl (glass bowls work well for presentation, but any sort of bowl will do) with some of the sponge squares. Next add some of the jelly/o squares on top and some of the custard, topped with some of the fruit. Continue this pattern (cake / jelly / custard / fruit) until you have used up all the ingredients. Try to be generous with your layers, but not so generous that you run out of one item before any of the others! Also, try and make sure that you have a good covering of custard for the final (top) layer. You can then sprinkle the last of the fruit and some chocolate curls on top for decoration. Allow to sit in the fridge for an hour or so before serving.

This is such an easy dessert to make, it does not require any cooking (unless you make the custard from scratch - I never usually bother!), and is really, really yummy! It requires a little bit of preparation, but even that is so easy! A family favourite for as long back as I can remember...

Good luck and happy experimenting (and eating)!
u can just go buy a packet of jello powder and all the instructions are on the packet!
Layered Strawberry and Cream Dessert

time to make 15 min- 15 min prep

Dessert couldn't get any easier than this!

2 lbs fresh strawberries

1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk

2 cups whipping cream

25 ladyfingers (about)

1-2 orange, juice of depending on size

1. Clean strawberries.

2. Reserve a portion for garnish, and slice the rest.

3. Mix the sliced strawberries with condensed milk.

4. Line a loaf pan with plastic film or aluminum foil.

5. Layer the dessert beginning with Ladyfingers that have been drizzled with orange juice, then strawberry/milk mixture, and finally whipped cream.

6. Repeat layers and finish with ladyfingers on top.

7. Refrigerate for a few hours and remove from pan.

8. Garnish with reserved strawberries.

Enjoy!!
buy some strawberry shortcake cups, chop up some strawberries, about 3 cups, add 1 cup sugar, and just enough water to make a heavy syrup, 1/4 cup or so, chill berries overnight, spoon into the cups, and top with whipped cream or cool whip (canned whipped cream looks prettier)
Try dirt cake. Crush oreo cookies. In a large glass bowl, layer cool whip and the crushed oreos in layers (nothing precise). Refrigerate and serve. If it sits overnight, it's best, cause the cool whip blends into the oreos, but it's good right after you make it too.
Here is one that you really can't get much easier then.

Ice cream Sandwich Dessert

2 boxes ice cream sandwiches

I tub of cool whip

Layer the fist box of scream sandwiches in a 9 by 13 pan (you may have to cut a couple in half to make them fit.

Cover with cool whip.

layer the second box of ice cream sandwiches on top of cool whip.

cover with cool whip.

cover pan and stick in the freezer for a few hours.

pull out cut a serve.

you can also make this with mint chocolate chip ice cream sandwiches and either chocolate or mint flavored cool whip.

You can also add chocolate sprinkles on top if you want it to look fancier
This is really easy and fun to make. It takes about 45 minutes to cook and prepare it.
